SOFRUCE 50 YEARS OF HISTORY
For 50 years, we are pleased to share our values and our know-how with our customers and suppliers.
All started on 29 September 1966 when Mr. Cebrián created the company Sofruce. At the time he sells mainly citrus and fruit & vegetables from Spain for the French market.
Why Sofruce ?
SO for the word société (Society)
FRU for the word Fruitier (Orchard)
CE for the family name Cebrian
Why the Color orange ?
Because the main product in that era was citrus.
Then in 1982 his son Angel takes over the company. He developed the strawberry and raspberry and becomes leader of strawberries in Europe.
In 2004, he built a new modern and adapted infrastructure to the development of the company. The team moved to the present location.
In 2009 his grandson Gregory became President. He maintains the marketing of red fruit and develops the market of citrus and tomatoes from Moroccan origin.
Today, to continue its development and to celebrate its 50 years, Sofruce offers itself for the first time the strawberry mark "Belinda", a strictly selected strawberry.
This half century, Sofruce remains true to its history and looks to the future with the same dynamism and enthusiasm that always characterized him.
